Where good nutrition and conversation happen daily.
Do you skip meals? Hate eating alone? Don’t want to cook? Or maybe you like to gather with friends and do fun things?
GenAge Cafés serve food you like, at a good value. It’s a place to meet your friends, visit with one another and enjoy various activities.
IT’S THE BEST DEAL IN TOWN.
- Anyone age 60 or better is welcome to dine at a GenAge Café. If your spouse is younger, not a problem - bring them along for the same great deal!
- The price is right: simply a suggested donation of $2.75 for a good meal that includes milk, coffee, fruit and even a dessert.
- The days of the week each Café is open varies by location. Meals are generally served between 11:30 AM and noon.
- Dine with us daily or check out the menu and come when your favorite foods are served.

- Home-delivered meals are available in specific locations at a suggested donation of $3.00 per meal.
- Each meal is approved by a registered dietitian and must meet 1/3 of the USDA Recommended Daily Allowances.
- Special diets can be accommodated with an order from your physician.
- GenAge Cafés provide monthly nutrition and wellness information.
- Café events and special menus are planned throughout the year. Each site is unique with seasonal decorations, topics of the day, bingo, card playing, live music and much more!
- GenAge Café managers are trained and certified in food service sanitation, meeting Health Department inspection standards and guidelines.
- Muscatine Café meals are prepared by Unity HealthCare, Muscatine. Clinton and Scott County Café meals are prepared by Sodexo Campus Services, St. Ambrose University, Davenport.
- GenAge Cafés are funded by the Older Americans Act Nutrition Program and participant donations.
Generations sponsors 29 Iowa GenAge Cafés in Clinton, Muscatine and Scott counties with locations in: Camanche, DeWitt, Clinton, Wheatland, Muscatine, Fruitland, West Liberty, Wilton, Davenport, Bettendorf, Buffalo, Eldridge, LeClaire, and Walcott.
